Prof. Tan began his career lecturing at the National University of Singapore but, voluntarily conducted biological field courses for teachers and later headed the Science Centre for almost 10 years where he promoted the awareness and understanding of science & technology among schools students and the general public.
Dr. Quek started his career as a school teacher and taught at the primary, secondary and junior college levels for 18 years before he assumed the position of the Dean of the School of Physical Education in 1991.
Ong Teong Wan's 50 year career has been centred around education and human resource development. His last appointment after 12 years was on secondment as Professional Staff to SEAMEO Innotech.
Dr. William Wan is the General Secretary of the Singapore Kindness Movement and a member of the Scouts Council. He is also Chairman of Prison Fellowship Singapore and the Ethics Committee of the Farrer Park Hospital.
Nicholas Tang, a scout since the age of 12, was the immediate past Chief Commissioner of the Singapore Scout Association and continues to serve the scout movement as a member of the Singapore Scout Council, the Asia Pacific Regional Scout Committee and various committees at the world level.
Cham Jim Kee was a physical education (PE) teacher and taught in secondary schools and a junior college. He was the Head of Department for PE in Victoria School where he played a pivotal role in reviving the sporting tradition of the school.
